Why Measure Fear and Greed?
The cryptocurrency market behaves in an emotional manner. When the market rises, people tend to become greedy. Conversely, they panic when the market falls. Our Fear and Greed Index aims to help you avoid making impulsive decisions driven by emotions. By using our application, you can easily track the rates of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies.

Added Dominance Indicator BTC, ETH:
Bitcoin dominance, also known as BTC dominance, is a measure of the market capitalization of Bitcoin compared to the rest of the cryptocurrency market.

The app includes widgets for your home screen, allowing you to stay updated with the index changes through local notifications. Additionally, you can conveniently monitor the Fear and Greed Index from your Apple Watch.

There are two simple assumptions:

 <li class="review">Extreme fear can indicate that investors are overly worried, which could potentially present a buying opportunity.</li>
 <li class="review">When investors become too greedy, it may suggest that the market is due for a correction. This can be an opportune time to sell your coins.</li>
</ol>

The app analyzes emotions and sentiments from various sources and condenses them into a simple numerical index. This free tool empowers you to check the current fear and greed index of Bitcoin. The app gathers data from multiple sources, including but not limited to the alternative.me open API, BTC dominance, historical data analysis, and others. Additionally, it performs on-device calculations based on historical market data.
